We saw Tiny Hix for the first time this morning! I wish my scanner worked or I'd post the utrasound pictures, although I know for a fact s/he is only cute to his/her Mama and Daddy. The heartbeat was 154, perfect, s/he was measuring about a centimeter, perfect (so tiny.)
I have gained at least five pounds already (not so perfect.) I need to calm down on the carbs and the celebratory cheesesteaks.... my mom is, with good reason, a little concerned I might balloon up. I have been known to gain an incredible amount of weight very quickly, but it's always been because of medication I've been on/ gone off of. We'll see. I need to get more exercise too, but I've been justifying my laziness by pointing out the truth that I'm just soooooo tired. I don't have much to complain about though.... I'm only a tiny nauseated and I've been sleeping fine.
It is a gloomy, rainy, wonderful day.
